The boots are constructed with the multilayer SPS Total Shock Protection System. SPS Total consists of a polyurethane footbed, a flexible insole, a large Poron® heel insert, a shock-absorbing Comfort Pod, a lightweight impact-absorbing polyurethane midsole, and a thermoplastic urethane outsole. The revolutionary Comfort Pod supports the arch of the foot, regardless of whether the wearer is walking or standing, and also helps dissipate impact from the foot.
